Do you wish you could turbo charge your SQL Servers? Do you want to find that mythical, magical go faster button?

 You can make SQL Server go faster and support a heavier workload. It doesn’t take skills in magic, but it does take skills. We will start with a solid understanding of the fundamentals of the SQL Server query engine and develop new techniques for tackling whatever performance problems come your way.

 Topics include:

1.       Best practices for maximizing performance
2.      
Query tuning and optimization
3.      
Indexing for performance
4.      
Troubleshooting tempdb performance

Presenter Bio:

Robert is a SQL Server 2008 Certified Master, an experienced DBA, evangelist, speaker, writer, trainer, and consultant. He is the Principal DBA with Outerwall, Inc. and consults part-time via SQL DBA Master. He has worked with SQL Server for more than 13 years, including recent stints as a Sr. Product Consultant and Chief SQL Server Evangelist for Idera Software, Program Manager for the SQL Server Certified Master Program at Microsoft Learning, and as a production DBA at Microsoft.

Registration

The date of the class is Friday March 21.  The cost for the class is $99 if you register by February 20th, when they raise to $125.  When you register, be sure to choose Robert's class.
