Building your own Performance Management Solution
This sessions shows DBAs and/or SQL Developers how to build our your own performance management tools using SQL Server DMVs. It focuses on what you should monitor, why you should monitor it, and how you should monitor it. The presentation touches on the benefits of building your own monitoring solution instead of buying something off the shelf. While using the backdrop of providing actual implementable disk performance monitoring code you can walk away with at the end of the night.
